Geoffrey Rezek has led the
rapid configuration, installation and training of multiple
Peoplesoft EnterpriseOne, J.D. Edwards OneWorld and World Supply
Chain Systems for consumer goods and industrial companies. J.D.
Edwards awarded him the Area Specialist of the year twice. He was
consistently rated superior by his students, and is a published and
certified professional.
Geoff Rezek Accomplishments:
Resolved a number of significant World Standard Costing and
Manufacturing Accounting issues for Hamilton Sundstrand, a billion
dollar Aerospace Corporation. Debugged their process, designed
solutions to costing problems, wrote programming specifications,
and trained the accounting department in the use of JD Edwards. The
results are easier to maintain and more accurate costs, a faster
financial close, and easier audits
Project managed
and lead an on time, on budget World implementation at new
manufacturing facility for Sara Lee Coffee and Tea. Developed the
project plan, trained users and lead the implementation of the
Sales Order, Purchasing, Inventory, Product Data Management, Shop
Floor Control, Product Costing Manufacturing Accounting and MRP
modules.
Fixed a number of Bill of
Material, Master Routing, Standard Cost maintenance and
Manufacturing Accounting batch analysis issues for Sara Lee Coffee
and Tea, a large consumer goods manufacturer. Lead the change to
costing at the Branch/Plant level and from a single currency to
multi currency. Designed a nightly batch costing process that
maintains the same costs in all Branch/Plants.
Replaced the
manufacturing architect, who left Timken Precision Bearings, a
precision hard goods fabricator and assembler at a critical time. I
had to redesign and resolve many outstanding complicated
Configurator, Sales Orders, Work Orders, MRP and Cost Accounting
subsystems interface design flaws while maintaining a tight project
deadline. The result was a successful on time
implementation.
Led the OneWorld Manufacturing and standard costing
implementation at New World Pasta, an international 5 plant
consumer goods company. Trained and Installed two of the plants in
three months.
Led the manufacturing design in
partnership with Anderson Consulting for a 30 plant One World
system. Applications architected include: Inventory/Product Data
Management/Product Costing/Manufacturing Accounting/Shop Floor
Control/Forecasting/ Multi-plant MRP/DRP.
Significantly reduced the
implementation time for an aerospace company. Configured One World
and held the project team together despite extreme technical
difficulties and the first integration of Synquest.
Designed a by-pass for the One
World product cost/manufacturing accounting for a chemical process
manufacturer that allowed them to go live on schedule. Using 25%
less than the minimum recommended consulting time, installed a
three plant World System for a industrial company. Applications
architected include: Inventory Management/Product Data
Management/Product Costing/Manufacturing Accounting/Shop Floor
Control/Forecasting/Multiplant MRP/DRP/DSI bar coding
training.
Architected the implementation of
a World distributed consumer goods manufacturers system using
sub-contract Branch/Plants. Designed their use of standard product
costing. Applications architected include: Inventory
Management/Product Data Management/Product Costing/Manufacturing
Accounting/Shop Floor Control.
Set an area record of seven
months for the complete installation of a JD Edwards World System
at a three plant industrial company. Applications architected
include: Procurement/Inventory Management/Product Data
Management/Product Costing/Manufacturing Accounting/Shop Floor
Control/Forecasting/MRP.
Designed and managed a team
through implementation of a complete distribution and manufacturing
World system for a consumer goods company in 12 months. Acted as
the materials manager designer after the material manager resigned.
Led the team at a critical time without delaying the
implementation. Applications architected include: Sales Order
Management/ Procurement/ Inventory Management/Product Data
Management/Product Costing/Manufacturing Accounting/Shop Floor
Control/Forecasting/MRP.
